Stefan is passionate about his role as the portfolio manager at Bright River Private Wealth, bringing a wealth of experience in equity research and quantitative stock selection methods. Born and raised in Switzerland, Stefan began his career as a research analyst at a boutique wealth management firm in 2006. Since 2009, he has held positions as a financial advisor and portfolio manager at Merrill Lynch and UBS, before launching Bright River Private Wealth with his partners.
Stefan holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Economics and Business Administration, along with a Master of Arts in Banking and Finance from the University of St.Gallen, Switzerland. He also attended Duke University's Fuqua School of Business as an exchange student in the daytime MBA program during his graduate studies in 2005.
Additionally, Stefan served on the board of the CFA Society Memphis for many years, including a two-year term as president, and has taught International Finance at Rhodes College.
Residing in Germantown, TN, Stefan lives with his wife Isabella and their two sons, Marco and Vincent. The family is passionate about supporting non-profit organizations that positively impact the community, traveling, and engaging in various sports.
